Tunes in Bloom Spring Concert
6.1.25 Scarsdale Public Library
Tunes in Bloom offers young musicians from Scarsdale Schools the opportunity to celebrate their music & the opportunity for performance practice.
Over 100 attendees turned out for the June Tunes in Bloom concert at Scarsdale Public Library. The range of performances was outstanding, from self-composed pieces to story-sharing about the composition process to jazz pieces; our students were outstanding!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Drew Patrick, Superintendent of Scarsdale Schools, for his visionary support of Tunes in Bloom. His belief that performance practice is a foundational skill—vital for student growth both in and beyond the arts—beautifully aligns with the Profile of a Scholar in the Scarsdale Schools Strategic Plan (2024-2029): https://shorturl.at/tDBAa. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping this concert series into a recurring celebration of student expression.
We are also deeply grateful to Ms. Vivian Wu, our exceptional accompanist. Her artistry, ability to master new repertoire under tight timelines, and unwavering dedication to our students have been essential to Tunes in Bloom. Her commitment to helping each young performer shine continues to inspire everyone involved.
